Pink ribbon 2019

The 1st of October, 2019 kicks off the annual ”Pink Ribbon” auction that Olofsfors started back in 2010. The auction runs all month until the 31st, at midnight.

2010 was the start of the merging ideas between what the Pink Ribbon symbolizes and the forest machine tracks that Olofsfors manufactures and supplies worldwide. Almost 800,000 SEK since 2010 has been donated to cancer research. Olofsfors has auctioned off a set of Pink forestry Track to raise funds for cancer research every year since.

Most people have some kind of connection to cancer and in one way or another we all know someone who has been affected by it. Every hour, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer, which is also the most common form of cancer afflicting women. For the 10th year, Olofsfors will get involved again and donate money to help further cancer research; something that the employees at Olofsfors are glad to be a part of.
